Garibaldi Landcare Group is hosting a National Tree Day activity at Garibaldi Bridge Reserve, south bank of the Yarrowee River. This location is important because it is a wetland area, habitat for protected species, and is a follow-up for earlier work that was badly damaged by flooding. We are aiming to regenerate the area and increase biodiversity, providing habitat for birds and fish alongside the river.

This is also a chance to join our Landcare Group. It is a fun social day, too. You can enjoy the company of your fellow local community members.while taking part in a conservation project, with a chance to learn about native flora and fauna in the process.

Please bring gloves, wear sturdy boots.
A barbecue will be held onsite after the planting.
